ZTE announced a new budget smartphone called the Zmax Pro. Priced at only $99, the handset features a 6-inch Full HD LCD display, a Snapdragon 617 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, a 5MP selfie camera, a 13MP main camera, a finger-print reader, a USB Type C port and 3,400mAh battery.

Many Chinese smartphone brands, including OPPO, Xiaomi, nubia, have released their new models in May. As the buyers were still wondering which of those handsets are more worthy, another model, which comes with dual rear cameras and a ZTE logo, was exposed today.
ZTE has been well-known for its cost-efficient smartphones, including some super low-end models. But according to a recent interview South Daily gave to Bo Bai, the company’s vice president, ZTE would stop making entry-level smartphones which are priced below $100 in 2015.
