Cube recently released a dual boot firmware for its Cherry-Trail Z8300 powered tablet – the iWork 8 Ultimate. With this new ROM installed, the user can switch between Windows 10 and Android 5.1 with just one tap. This ROM greatly enhances the tablet’s potential with the access to thousands of applications in Google Play.

Xiaomi, the third largest smartphone manufacturer in the world, released the highly anticipated Xiaomi Pad 2, which runs on the latest Intel Atom Cherry Trail X5-Z8300 SoC. To everybody’s surprise, there are two editions running different operating systems.
ONDA’s all new 8-inch Windows tablet, the V820w, was exposed recently. The slate features an 8-inch IPS display at the resolution of 1280*800, a 14nm Atom X5 Cherry-trail processor and 2GB RAM. According to some Chinese reports, the ONDA V820w will be on sale soon.
