Shanhai based Yi-Duan Tech the company behind the latest phone brand OONE, has earlier announced their first model the OONE-01, featuring ultra-slim (only 5.67mm) and light weight (only 99gram) design. The OONE will come in three colors, black and bark blue, white and white and gold.
Will be available for purchase from May 6 and sell at a price of 3299 CNY ($527).
The OONE-01 is said to feature a 5 inch display at 720×1280 resolution, MT6592 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, microSD slot with up to 64GB, dual-microSIM, two-sided Gorilla Glass, running Android 4.2.2 with its own developed “Enjoy ROM”.
OONE is going against the more-performance-cheaper trend and pricing its first phone much higher then the competition, with the ultra-slim ultra-light design as its unique feature.
Maybe OONE only wants to niche their market or limit the first production cost with tiny number of units in order to create buzz around their brand, before their next phone ONNE-02.
It cant be easy to be a phone company in China these days.
Mediatek phones are finally getting some KitKat love. First out to receive Android 4.4.2 upgrade are the Elephone P8 and Elephone P9.
