PIPO announced more two months ago that they were going to release a Core-M powered tablet with a Quad HD display, but not until two weeks ago did they give it a name – the PIPO Work -W8, and it is now on sale on JD.com for RMB2,499 ($403).

Vido recently announced their first Core-M powered Windows 8 tablet – the W11X, which has similar internal hardware set-up as other recently released high-end Windows tablets from fellow Chinese brands, but only sports a FWXGA display (1366*768px).
