We haven’t heard from PIPO for quite some time now. But the Shenzhen-based tech company isn’t dead yet, it recently announced a new 10.1-inch tablet, which will feature Rockchip’s RK3399 processor, 4GB RAM, 64GB eMMc storage and stylus support. But what really makes it special is the Phoenix OS it will be running out of the box.

“Phoenix OS is an enhanced new personal computer operating system based on the Android platform and is suitable for smart tablets, laptops, desktop computers and other large-screen devices. It inherits many features and functions of classic personal computer operating systems and also supports millions of mainstream Android applications. You can use it freely in any environment – home, office, education or any other.” – Phoenix OS’ Official Website

The version of Phoenix OS the P10 will be running on is based on Android 7.1.2, which is more advanced than the newest version of Jide’s Remix OS.

The P10 is already on sale on China’s TMALL.com.
