Tencent’s recent collaboration with inWatch resulted in a new smart watch called the inWatch T, which was released at the Tencent press conference yesterday.
The inWatch T sports a 1.4-inch AMOLED display at the resolution of 400*400 (287PPI), a big.LITTLE dual-core processor (one core running at 1.2GHZ, another at 300MHZ), 1GB DDR2 RAM, 8GB of internal storage and 300mAh battery. It runs the Tencent OS, with preinstalled apps such as QQ and Wechat. The watch has a scratch-proof Gorilla 3 glass touchscreen with sapphire crystal coating, and is rated IP56 in terms of Ingress Protection.
The prices of different versions of the inWatch T were also revealed: the Standard Edition carries a price tag of RMB999 ($161), the Sports Edition is priced at RMB799 ($129), and the Advanced Designer Edition will be sold with a price of RMB1,499 ($241).
