Smartisan released their new smartphone Nut U1 in Shanghai on August, 25th. The handset features a 5.5-inch IPS display at the resolution of 1920*1080px, a Snapdragon 615 octa-core processor, 2GB RAM, 16GB/32GB internal storage, 2900mAh Li-Po battery, a 5MP front camera and a 13MP main camera with F/2.2 aperture. It also has two SIM card slots, which support both TDD and FDD. The smartphone runs Smartisan OS 1.5.2 on top of Android 5.0, and the later upgrade to Smartisan OS 2.0 has been scheduled.



The 16GB version of the Smartisan Nut U1 is priced at RMB899 ($139.9), while the 32GB is only little higher at RMB999($155.6). The buyers can also invest RMB49 ($7.6) on the optional back cover, which comes in 7 different colors.
