Minix has planed to release their first Intel based TV box, theĀ Minix NEO Z64 already back in October as reported earlier. Three months later and Shenzhen leaks notified us that the Z64 along with full specs and price will be unveiled tomorrow evening China time.

What we know today is that the Minix Z64 will be powered by Intel Z3735F (64-bit) Quad-core CPU, support dual-OS. To allow live switching between Android 4.4 and Windows 8.1 the Z64 will most likely feature Insyde BIOS and 64GB of storage.

Minix Z64 highlights:

  1. Dual-OS (Android 4.4.4 / Windows 8.1)
  2. Live OS switching, Insyde BIOS
  3. 64GB flash storage

The released Minix Z64 does not support dual-OS, instead there are two models, Minix Neo Z64A running Android 4.4.4 and Minix Neo Z64W running Windows 8.1.
