Popcorn Time is a free and multi-platform media player that streams content via the per-to-peer bittorrent network. In the media, Popcorn Time has been called “the Netflix for pirates” as it streams unauthorized copies of films, without the many restrictions forced upon the legal service providers.

The project is open soure and several forks (versions) has been developed for the main operating systems, Linux, OS X, Windows and Android.

UPDATE: time4popcorn has moved to new domain,

Currently only Time4Popcorn and ShowBox apps are available for Android but Flixtor and the official Popcorn Time build are also working on releasing Android apps shortly.

Alternatively you can stream torrents in XBMC (Kobi) using XBMCtorrent and Pulsar plugin on Android.

Disclaimer! There has been some discussions online claiming Time4Popcorn being “dangerous” software to install.
