Shortly after Meizu officially denied rumors of the mini version of the MX4, a piece of benchmark information of a smartphone called the “Meizu K52” surfaced  in the GFXBench database. According to the information shown in the database, the Meizu K52 features a 4.6-inch display at the resolution of 1920*1080px, and is powered by a MediaTek MT6752 processor (octa-core A53 CPU and Mali-760MP2 GPU) and 2GB RAM.  Many believe that the K52 will be a real contender in the budget end of the smartphone market and has the potential of kicking the Xiaomi Hongmi phone’s ass.

As Meizu’s deputy CEO Li Nan wrote on his microblog, Meizu had no plan releasing any other smartphone model this year, so it is believed that the Meizu K52 will likely to be released at the beginning of 2015.
