The ONDA V891w is an Intel-powered tablet recently released by ONDA. It is one of the many 8.9-inch slates we have seen recently, and now on sale for only RMB799 ($130) on

The V891w sports an 8.9-inch IPS display at the resolution of 1920*1200, and is powered by the all-too-familiar Intel Atom BayTrail Z3735F quad-core processor along with 2GB RAM. The small screen bezel and the location of the Home button makes it easy to use both in horizontal and portrait mode. As the screen is smaller than 9-inch, the V891w gets free authorized Windows 8.1 OS and one year of free Office 365. The slate has 32GB eMMc as internal storage, and a Micro SD card slot to further expand the capacity for media files. Not only does the tablet have dual cameras, the rear-facing one is 5MP with auto-focus support.

While most of the 8.9-inch Windows tablets are priced around RMB1,000 ($163), V891w’s $130 price tag is really quite attractive.
